Parking space row led to fatal stabbing

An irate neighbour who stabbed a carpenter following a punch-up over parking spaces claimed today he only meant to ‘scare’ the victim. Irishman John Martin, 41, was knifed in the heart by Darryn Madigan, 38, in front of his partner moments after getting out of a minicab in Kingsbury, northwest London.
