People smuggler faces extradition to France

A suspected people smuggler accused of ferrying migrants into the UK in the back of a lorry is fighting extradition to France. Astrit Cakici, 38, was witnessed with his older brother Arben Cakici, 48, carrying out an alleged handover of non-EU citizens near a service station in Kent at around 8am on 16 October.
