Pet owner kept dogs and pups in filthy cages

A pet owner who kept dogs and puppies in filthy conditions has been spared jail. Amarpal Singh, 32, admitted keeping 23 Alapaha Bulldogs, 16 of them pups, in cages at his home in Manor Park, east London on 9 November last year.
