Postmasters get ‘public exoneration’

Two former postmasters wrongly convicted of stealing from their employer finally saw their names cleared after one of Britain’s biggest miscarriages of justice. Richard Ormerod, 79, and Gillian Harrison, 69, were wrongly blamed for cash shortfalls in the Fujitsu-developed Horizon computer system, in use between 1999 and 2015.
