Pot farmer locked up
An Albanian weed farmer who came to the UK illegally hoping to pay off a £10,000 medical bill was jailed for three months. Marius Gjonaj, 29, was stopped by a police patrol car on Marylebone Road, Edgware, west London, on January 1. Officers searched his car and found large quantities of cash and a mobile phone with images of cannabis plants.
