Prisoner who killed guard at court is sent to hospital

A mentally ill prisoner who killed a female custody officer at court by kicking her head ‘like a football’ has been sent to a psychiatric hospital indefinitely. Humphrey Burke, 28, lashed out at Lorraine Barwell while being escorted from Blackfriars Crown Court in handcuffs on 29 June 2015.
