Publishers of Putin’s People facing four new law suits

HarperCollins is facing four more law suits over the book Putin’s People after Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich first issued legal proceedings against the publishers in March for making ‘false and defamatory statements’ relating to the Russian’s purchase of the club. Businessmen Mikhail Fridman, oil company Rosneft, and entrepreneur Shalva ChigirInsky claim HarperCollins has damaged their reputation.
