Romanian crime boss admits killing 39 migrants
A Romanian crime boss behind a huge people smuggling operation has admitted killing 39 Vietnamese migrants who were found suffocated in a lorry trailer. The bodies were discovered in a refrigerated trailer in Grays, Essex, in 2019. Ten victims were teenagers. Ringleader Marius Draghici, 50, was arrested in Romania in August.
