Russian spies ‘targeted US military base used to train Ukrainian soldiers’
A gang of Russian spies carried out surveillance on a US military base they believed was being used to train Ukrainian soldiers, a court heard. Orlin Roussev, 46, Biser Dzhambazov, 43, and Katrin Ivanova, 32, were allegedly working for Jan Marsalek, an Austrian national acting as a Russian agent, in late 2022. The network of Bulgarians, based in the UK, planned to use ‘military grade’ IMSI catchers to capture the phone data of people within the base in Stuttgart, Germany….
