Serial pitch invader faces trial

A YouTuber who ran onto the Oval cricket ground and collided with England batsman Jonny Bairstow will stand trial next spring. Daniel Jarvis, 33, allegedly invaded the pitch and pretended to bowl at batsman Ollie Pope during England’s fourth test against India on 3 September.
