She stole from helpless dementia patient

A carer who stole thousands of pounds from an 81-year-old dementia patient was spared jail. Former Helping Hands employee Shereen Jones, 38, withdrew £3,000 from Julia Cowper’s bank account while caring for the pensioner at her Kensington home. Jones admitted fraud by abuse of position at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, between July 17 and October 2, 2018.
