Smackhead took police on terror chase

A career criminal who narrowly missed an elderly pedestrian as he hurtled down a pavement in a stolen BMW has been jailed for 22 months. Owen Foster, 52, smashed the £25,000 motor into two other vehicles before attempting to escape police by jumping over garden fences.
