Social worker accused of raping nine year old girl

A social worker raped a nine-year-old girl during seven years of sexual abuse, a court heard. Mark McKeown, 50, carried out the attacks while working in West Norwood, between 1988 and 1995, it is claimed. He later moved to south Yorkshire and began working as a carer for LH Social Care in Barnsley. The father-of-two was suspended from his role after his arrest on 7 May 2015.
