Son ‘smothered 89-year-old mum to death’

A son accused of killing his 89-year-old mother in the family home appeared in court today (mon). Kevin Pearce, 58, is said to have smothered his mum Edith Pearce to death in her bed, on 5 June 2021. Ms Pearce, who suffered from dementia, lived with her son in their home in Barton Close, Bexleyheath.
