Souvenir shop workers swapped loot for Euros

Two souvenir shop workers who laundered nearly £1 million for criminals have been jailed for a total of 11 years. Raviraj Ganesparan, 61, and employee Nirojan Balasingham, 38, converted £986,461 into Euros and other foreign currencies between November 2016 and May 2018. Ganesparan ran London Shop in Queensway, west London, while his lieutenant Balasingham communicated with prospective ‘clients’ in the UK and abroad.
