Speeding driver killed birthday girl at 74mph

A speeding driver who killed a barmaid out celebrating out her birthday when he hit her at 74 mph in a 20mph zone has been jailed for four years. Charlotte Kenning, 26, was struck by a red Vauxhall Astra driven by banker Muhim Miah in Limeharbour, Tower Hamlets at 11.45pm on 25 May as she crossed the road with her boyfriend.
