‘Strangled to death by his neighbour’

An alleged killer strangled his 87-year-old neighbour to death, a court heard. Vasile Iosebica, 47, was charged earlier today with murdering Brian Hunt in Lewisham, southeast London in the early hours of Sunday 24 August. Police officers and paramedics were called to an address on Wellmeadow Road where Mr Hunt was pronounced dead at the scene.
