Strip club boss fails in bid to renew licence

The owner of Britain’s most famous strip club failed to renew its licence after dancers were caught openly flouting ‘no touching’ rules with punters. The Windmill Theatre famously ‘never closed in the Blitz’ but was left battling for survival after a women’s rights group hired private investigators to snoop in the club’s VIP room.
