London Zoo fined after keeper fell off step ladder

London Zoo was fined £40,000 today (mon) after a keeper fell off a faulty step ladder onto a concrete floor while cleaning out the hawk aviary. Angelina Lawson suffered neck injuries in the accident while removing droppings from a shelf under the birds’ perches.
