Suspect in Hyde Park murder in court

An Egyptian illegal immigrant accused of beating an award-winning carer to death in London’s Hyde Park will stand trial in February. The battered body of 62-year-old Jairo Medina was found by a member of park staff under a tree near Speaker’s Corner on 12 August this year.
