Taxi driver facing jail for killing pedestrian

  A black cab driver who ran over and killed a pedestrian in the early hours of the morning faces jail today (TUES). Christopher Jones, 56, hit 40 year-old Steven John Beard near a junction in Eltham, southeast London, just before 2.30am on 8 November 2015. Mr Beard suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene in Rochester Way a short time later. Jones appeared at the Old Bailey to plead guilty to causing death by careless driving….
