Teenage killer must wait until 2022 to stand trial

A teenager accused of murdering a 15-year-old boy in front of shoppers will not stand trial until 2022, the Old Bailey heard today (mon). Joseph Marafini was stabbed outside Sainsbury’s near Garratt Lane Burial Ground in Wandsworth shortly before 5pm, on 29 October. Joseph, of Wandsworth, was rushed to hospital after police were called at 16:58 but he died later that evening. The post-mortem examination gave the cause of death to be a stab wound to the neck.
