Family of teenager killed by chicken burger call for law change

A teenager who died from an allergic reaction after eating grilled chicken marinaded in buttermilk had told his server of his allergy to dairy products, a coroner has found. Owen Carey, 18, collapsed in his girlfriend’s arms in front of the London Eye on 22 April 2017 after eating a meal at a Byron burger bar.
