Thameslink fined £1m after horror accident
A train company was fined £1m for failing in its health and safety duties after a passenger was killed in a horror accident. Train enthusiast Simon Brown, 24, was hit by a gantry as the Gatwick Express train approached Wandsworth Common station on August 7, 2016.
