‘There’s a gunman at me mam’s house!’

A hoax caller repeatedly dialled 999 claiming there was a gunman outside his mother’s house, a court heard. Leon Khan, 34, hounded Kensington police from a public telephone box for more than eight hours between 9 April and 16 April last year. Khan made a total of 63 calls alleging a gunman at his mother’s front door. He urged police to arrest him so he could be interviewed about his claims, the Old Bailey heard.
