Top heart surgeon convicted of hospital gropes

One of Britain’s top heart surgeons’ careers is in tatters today (Thurs) after he was found guilty of groping two women at work. Mohamed Amrani, 54, was convicted of attacks a decade apart on two victims at different hospitals. During his career Amrani saved hundreds of lives and made headlines in the UK for specialising in a keyhole surgery technique to carry out heart bypasses and valve transplants.
