Trial for accused student killer

An alleged killer charged with murdering his girlfriend in her halls of residence will stand trial next May. Maher Maaroufe, 23, had been in a relationship with City University psychology undergraduate Sabita Thanwani, 19, before the killing in Clerkenwell, central London.
