Trial for having an axe

An accused axeman who allegedly posed as a tourist while police uncovered the weapon in the boot of his car is set to stand trial. Christian Bourches, 53, was allegedly living in the vehicle when officers approached him in Water Lane, central London, on 18 March. The German national claimed he was sightseeing while police searched the boot to find the chopper hidden inside, prosecutors claim.
