A world-class tenor accused of cheating a ‘vulnerable woman’ out of more than £100,000 by offering to perform and donate funds to charity will stand trial in August. Andrew Amdur, 47, is said to have fleeced Elizabeth Shaheen after attending her home in Maida Vale, northwest London.
