Tube pickpocket preyed on pensioners

A callous pickpocket who targeted pensioners on the underground has been jailed for four years. David Turner, 59, and an unnamed accomplice stole wallets from eight unsuspecting passengers on the Tube. Turner’s sidekick distracted elderly prey by dropping coins, then reached into the victims’ pockets as they came over and tried to help, Snaresbrook crown court heard.
