Uber driver ‘killed pensioner outside supermarket’

An Uber driver ploughed into a 70-year-old man before speeding away with a cracked windscreen and leaving the pensioner for dead, a court heard today (mon). Mohamad Tharek Uddin, 28, crashed a rented BMW One Series into Mauro Gutierrez, sending him flying through the air ‘like a ragdoll’ on Mansell Street near Aldgate tube station.
