A drunken lout who urinated by a memorial dedicated to a hero cop ‘attended the protests to protect the statues but didn’t know which statues he was defending’, a court heard. Andy Banks, 28, downed 16 pints of beer before he was photographed relieving himself next to the plaque to PC Keith Palmer in Parliament Square on Saturday. Chief Magistrate Lady Emma Arbuthnot said the unemployed trainee chef had generated ‘strong revulsion’ and sentenced him to 14 days in prison….
