Victim in kidney donor case pretended he was homeless

A market trader, trafficked from Nigeria to provide a kidney for a senator’s daughter, lied to police to make himself seem like a ‘very vulnerable juvenile’, a court heard. Ike Ekweremadu, 60, allegedly illegally transported the man to the UK and offered to pay him for his kidney.
