VietJet wins right to appeal in jet dispute

Vietnamese discount airline VietJet has won the right to appeal a High Court verdict in its long-running dispute with private equity firm FitzWalter Capital over the ownership of four passenger jets. FitzWalter, the Jersey-registered distressed asset fund run by ex-Macquarie star banker Ben Brazil, is suing VietJet for £137m in the commercial courts following an aircraft loan takeover.
