Whistle blown on teacher who claimed he had football job

A teacher who pretended to work for the Football Association as an education officer while applying for another job has been banned from teaching. David Lavery, 28, also failed to mention his previous teaching work when applying to Darwen Aldridge Community Academy in Lancashire.
