A pensioner caught smuggling £250,000 worth of an unlicenced ‘wonder drug’ claimed he was trying to save the life of his cancer-stricken wife. Brian Hall, 67, was allegedly caught with nearly 600 vials of GcMAF as he was attempting to board a ferry to Cherbourg in northern France.
