Amazon gets £65k fine for trying to jet potentially exploding batteries – on a £1billion turnover

Internet giant Amazon has been fined £65,000 of its £1 billion yearly turnover for giving approval for dangerous goods to be jetted around the world. The company was guilty of ‘systematic failure’ when it gave the go-ahead flammable aerosols and potentially unstable lithium-ion batteries to be packed onto aircraft.
