Boy accused of starting blaze which ripped through mosque

  A 16-year-old boy started a huge blaze at a mosque which caused £6m worth of damage, a court heard today (weds). Flames tore through administrative buildings adjacent to the Baitul Futuh mosque, believed to be the largest in Western Europe, on London Road, Morden, south London, on 26 September 2015. Shocked onlookers watched as 70 firefighters took five hours to tackle the blaze. The street was shut off as the fire raged but the mosque reopened a week later….
