A Metropolitan Police inspector who raked in £66,000 by running a steroids factory from his garage with an ex convict was jailed for three-and-a-half years. Darren Lewis, 50, was placed under surveillance by his colleagues as he cooked up performance enhancing drugs at his Essex home with bodybuilding fanatic Nicholas Boys, 31. The pair produced homemade steroids and sold them to weightlifters between June and September 2013 – just months after Boys had been released from jail for similar offences….
