A member of a south American gang who stole bundles of free newspapers to sell to recycling firms was locked up in his absence after fleeing to Columbia. Marcel Larezserrano, 38, and Jhon Mejia, 33, helped themselves to thousands of copies of the Evening Standard from outside London Bridge Station on 6 April 2017.
