West Ham fan accused of calling Spurs winger ‘a ch*nk c*nt’ and shouting ‘DVD, DVD2’

A West Ham fan accused of chanting racist slogans at Tottenham’s star winger Son Heng-Min has appeared in court. Brian Cann, 51, shouted ‘you ch*nk c*nt’ and ‘DVD, DVD2’ at the player during the first half of the Spurs v West Ham match at the London Stadium on 31 October last year. The chanting of ‘DVD’ references a known racist stereotype of selling DVDs used to target Asian players. The Tottenham star had been the target of racist abuse before….
