Property developer accused of stealing champagne

A property developer denied stealing eight bottles of bubbly from Fortnum & Mason with the help of a teenage accomplice. Douglas Vallender, 52, allegedly swiped champagne from the famous Piccadilly department store in London’s West End on 1 May.
