Jilted lover murder trial collapses

The jury trying a man accused of knifing his lover to death when she tried to leave him has been discharged for legal reasons. Pawel Sroka, 34, is accused of stabbing 29-year-old Joanna Trojniak in their home in Croydon, south London on 23 March this year. Trojniak, an assistant manager at Nando’s restaurant in Colliers Wood, was found with multiple stabs wounds to her face, chest and hands at about 9pm. She died at the scene. Sroka has been standing…
