A father accused of sexually molesting his two dau
A father accused of sexually molesting his two daughters over
a 16 year span is to be retried at the Old Bailey.
The jury trying the 45-year-old salesman, who cannot be named
to protect his alleged victims’ identities, was discharged after
becoming deadlocked.
He denies a series of specimen sexual abuse charges, ranging
from an indecent assault in 1974, when his daughter was four
years old, to attempted rape in 1990.
He was arrested at the family home in Havering in July last
year.
The retrial is set for April 9.
