A Birmingham man accused of two Yardie-style murders within the space of 24 hours made his first appearance at the Old Bailey today.
(MON)
Bryan McLeish, 30, of City Rd, Birmingham, spoke only once to answer his name during the two minute hearing.
Bearded McLeish, who is 5ft 6in, was dwarfed in the dock by four burly prison officers.
Last week he was charged with the murders of Godfrey Owen Scott, 35, and Ray Samuels, 32, in east London.
Mr Scott was shot dead outside a house in Hainault Road, Leytonstone, on 29 June this year, and Mr Samuels was found strangled in nearby Rangers Close in Chingford on 30 June.
McLeish was remanded in custody until December 17 when a plea and directions hearing will be held.
