Mr Hunt, 43, later told the court how he was so shell-shocked by the incident that he wandered across the train tracks.
The platform attendant said he was side-on to the railway lines when Coltman shoved him.
Mr Hunt told the jury: ‘I was pushed and then everything went upside down.
‘The force of the push caused me to fall onto the tracks.
As far as I can remember, I went straight down.
‘My back hit the tracks and my legs hit the wooden sleepers.
Then my head hit the ballast, and that is what did the damage.
‘I was feeling very dazed, and I had in my mind that I must get back onto the platform, but I could not.
‘I was just staggering around.
I knew what I had to do – get off the tracks – but I just could not do it.
‘Then my colleague who was near the incident radioed over to our supervisor and he was there in a flash.
‘They both grabbed an arm each and hauled me up to the track.
‘They then walked me over to a bench to recover.
I was very dazed and felt a bit out of it.
‘
The trial continues tomorrow.
