Trucker spared jail for death ride

A bin lorry driver who tipped his truck over, crushing a colleague to death, while going too fast round a corner has been spared jail. Gerald Ball, 51, flipped the heavy garbage-laden vehicle on to its side and crashed through metal barriers onto the North Circular in Chingford, east London.
