Cops deny football fan attack

Two Metropolitan Police officers have denied fracturing a football fan’s eye socket and faking witness statements to prosecute him. Firearms officer Inspector Paul Wakeford, 49 and PC Danny Hargan, 37, allegedly assaulted Anthony Lovell while on crowd control duties at Spurs vs Arsenal match.
