Trial for accused pensioner killer

An alleged killer accused of smothering a pensioner, torching his flat and fleeing to Italy will stand trial next month. Jason Marshall, 28, allegedly murdered 68-year-old Peter Fasoli on Rubens Road, Northolt, west London, on 7 January 2013. Marshall flew to Italy three days later, and was only returned to the UK in February under a European arrest warrant.
