Bent cop faces jail

A crooked police officer who stole £4,000 from a dead man and claimed his son was critically ill to get more than two months off work is facing jail. Robert Ward, 35, also raided £8,150 the Metropolitan Police safe for £1,060 while based at Edmonton Police Station.
